Spirit Ridge K9 Training & Rescue
We are a private rescue facility that specializes in helping families cope with dog aggression and behavioural issues. We offer private and group obedience training in addition to other fun dog sports (such as Agility, Rally-Obedience, Scent work training etc.). For those extremely difficult cases, we offer in-home help that is targeted to improving both your dog's behaviour as well as your confidence in your dog (and yourself). We are uniquely qualified to help with rescued dogs and work with many shelters and rescue groups in both Ontario and the U.S. Our classes take place both outdoors and indoors in our training facility and proceeds go to support both our rescue efforts as well as our non profit community-based literacy programme for school aged children ('Paws for Literacy®'). We are a very small local producer with just over 100 taps. We collect the sap by hand, however have invested in a small evaporator to ensure a sanitary process. Our maple trees are distributed on our 18 acre property where we strive to ensure long term sustainability of our sugar bush, ponds and the local eco-system.
