* Window Wonderland Road Closure Nov. 15

The Erin Chamber of Commerce is hosting Window Wonderland on Main Street Friday, Nov. 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Main Street will be closed from Millwood Rd. to Church St. for the event. The detour route for the event is from Wellington Road 52 – Winston Churchill – Wellington 124. Any detour updates will be posted on https://511on.ca/

* Remembrance Day Parade Road Closures Nov. 10 - 11

Nov. 10, 2024
On Sunday, Nov. 10, Main St. will be temporarily closed from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m with a hard close on Main St. at Tin Roof Café to East Church St. The Legion will be preforming their annual Remembrance Day Sunday parade this day from the Erin Cenotaph, located on the corner of Union St. back to the Erin Legion, located at 12 Dundas St E. The detour route for this event will bypass Main St. and vehicular traffic will follow this detour route as follows: Wellington 52 – Wellington 124 – Side RD 17.
Nov. 11, 2024
On Monday, Nov. 11 Main St. will temporarily close from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a hard close at Lions Park Ave. to East Church St. The detour route for the event will again be bypassing Main St. The detour route is: Wellington 52 – Wellington 124 – Side RD 17.

* Road Closure Notice - Infrastructure Work - Nov. 7

Erindale Dr. to Erinlea Cres.
* Starting Nov. 7, 2024 to Nov. 14, 2024.
Inkster Drive will also be closed during this period, but access to Centre 2000 and Erin District High School High School will be accessible from Boland Drive.
The Erindale Drive intersection adjacent Erin District will be closed, but the Erinlea Crescent intersection will be open.
Only local traffic during this time – no through-traffic.
Access to the West side of Dundas – (Tomwell Cres.) can be accessed from Scotch Street – down Daniel Street then onto Dundas Street E.
Access to the East side of Dundas – past the closure can be accessed from Scotch St. – travelling up Erinlea Cres.

* CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - Wellington Rd. 124

The intersection improvements at Wellington Rd. 124 at 10th Line/MacLachlan Rd into the new development in the Town of Erin is set to begin construction October 28 through November 8.
Delays are expected and the use of an alternate route is recommended.
🔹Week of November 4: The intersection will be closed to through traffic. During this time, traffic will be rerouted.
