National Public Works Week is May 18 to 24!
Our Annual Touch-a-Truck event, in celebration of our Public Works staff and their hard work, is back again!
Date: Saturday May 24
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Place: Erin Town Hall grounds
As part of the National Public Works Week celebration, come out, get up close and personal with our staff and equipment and vehicles from our Roads and Fire and Emergency Services.
Ask any question, get behind the wheels (no you cannot drive it) and take photos.
A great family fun day!
The Town of Erin's public works professionals play an essential role in keeping us safe by building and maintaining the infrastructure, facilities and services we use and rely on everyday including roads, sidewalks, walking paths and stormwater infrastructure.
The Touch-A-Truck Family Fun Day is an opportunity for you to meet Town staff and learn more about the work they do through a variety of fun and interactive family-friendly activities.
Event activities include:
- Truck and equipment displays (e.g. snow plow, front-end loader)
- Interactive exhibits with fun and educational activities
- Fire and Emergency car extrication demonstration
- Free popcorn and beverages
No registration is required. Donation of non-perishable food item highly appreciated.
