Town of Erin National Public Works Week Art Competition

Dates: April 7 to April 25

Grades eligible: 1-6

What: Art Competition to celebrate our Public Works staff and what they do, with the winning artwork featured on shirts for Erin’s Touch-A-Truck event on May 24. The winning artist will also receive tickets to Canada’s Wonderland!

This is a competition for children from grade one to grade six, to draw and colour a picture that represents Erin’s public works staff and celebrates all the work they do.

Art Prompt: National Public Works Week aims to recognize workers who maintain roadways and public services across Canada. Here in Erin, we are holding our annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 24, to recognize our dedicated staff who keep our roadways safe.

Students are asked to draw, paint or create an art piece honouring Erin’s hard-working public works staff. Think snowplows, heavy equipment, and high-visibility clothing!
