Erin Town Council has voted to retain the shamrock logo.
After receiving significant public feedback on the Town of Erin’s recent logo change, Council has voted to retain the former logo and direct staff to create a higher-resolution enhanced version.
This decision reflects the Town of Erin’s strategic goals as it preserves community identity, supports residents’ connection with the Town’s heritage, ensures a professional and consistent municipal brand and fosters public engagement.
“I believe our best path forward is to retain the current logo,” said councillor John Brennan. “Not only is this a logo, for which our residents have already expressed approval, but retaining it means we will not incur any costs associated with rebranding communication items, vehicle identifications, signage, etc.”
Staff will be updating the logo across all print and digital platforms over the next few days.
