The Town of Erin is inviting residents to come out and celebrate Canada Day at Centre 2000 on June 30.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m. with crafts, games, and activities outside, including giant Jenga, inflatable games and face-painting.
Magician Ron Martin will be performing a series of magic tricks outdoors before his full-length show inside the theatre at 2:30 p.m.
“It is a blessing and an honour to call ourselves Canadian,” said Chris Vernon, senior communications officer with the Town. “We are so pleased to be able to celebrate our beautiful country and Town with everyone.”
Mascots from AAA Events will be on site, as well as Naydo’s Potatoes Food truck from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Grab a treat from the mobile baked goods cart on site and enjoy some popcorn with the 3:30 p.m. screening of Kung Fu Panda inside the theatre.
A free community BBQ is set to kick-off at 5 p.m., followed by live music.
The evening wraps up with fireworks overlooking the grounds of Centre 2000 at dusk.
