Environmental Award 2022 - $500

For the fourth consecutive year, ESAC (The Town of Erin Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee) is seeking nominations/applications for its 2022 Environmental Award, This award recognizes actions, projects, initiatives, education, stewardship or art that contributes to environmental sustainability in the Town of Erin.

This award is open to individuals, businesses, farms, service clubs, organizations or schools located in the Town of Erin.

Terms and Conditions
In 500 words or less, describe the following:

The program/project/initiatives or individual and how this project or person has contributed to environment sustainability.
Project objective
When the project began
Description of results
Indicate if the project can be scaled up
Include supporting photos, videos or links
Include contact information – name, phone, email

The winner will be selected and notified by ESAC, on World Environment Day, June 5, 2022.

For all submissions please send applications to clerks@erin.ca with Environmental Award in the subject line. Applications and nominations will be accepted until April 30, 2022.

ESAC - The Town of Erin Environment and Sustainablity Advisory Committee aims to provide advice and assist Council through the office of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) on matters associated with the environment and sustainability within the community. The Committee, as other Erin committees, is comprised of volunteer residents and council representatives and meet once a month to work on various projects and issues.
