Town of Erin Announces Winners of the Shamrock Awards
Awards Ceremony to be held on April 20, 2022
ERIN, ON: To honour all those who have made a significant contribution to our community during the 2020 to 2021 calendar year, earlier this year the Town of Erin made a callout for nominations for the annual Shamrock Awards. The Town received 47 nominations between the various categories listed below.
After considerable deliberations, the Shamrock Awards committee is announcing the following winners:
- The Citizen of the Year: Doug Kirkwood
- The Volunteer of the Year: Bayne Upton, Sid Spear, Robin Brooks, Deanna McKay, and Jay Mowat
- Business of the Year Award: Erin Fitness
No nominations were received for Business Innovation category.
The Shamrock Awards Ceremony will be held on April 20, 2022, 6 – 8 pm, at Erin Centre 2000 Theatre. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP to reserve their tickets. RSVPs can be made online here, over phone at 519-855-4407 or email communications@erin.ca
