Fire Chief Jim Sawkins acting CAO for the Town of Erin

ERIN, ON: I am pleased to announce that Fire Chief Jim Sawkins will be acting CAO for the Town of Erin, as CAO Nathan Hyde bids farewell to take up a new post.

Nathan Hyde has been an amazing CAO for the Town, with a strong record of success and we are saddened by his departure to pursue another employment opportunity.  He leaves a legacy of positive and transformational change that will carry Erin into the future, and a solid record of fiscal accountability.  Council thanks him for his seven years of dedicated service.  We are also appreciative of his agreeing to provide continued support during the transition period. He will be missed by many.

I have received numerous interest in the position and Council looks forward to discussing next steps and the recruitment process at the next Council Meeting on August 17.
