Town appoints Senior Planner

Jessica Peake will join the Town of Erin as a Senior Planner, effective July 8.

Peake brings more than two decades of experience and expertise in land-use planning, acquired through various progressive positions, including her previous roles at the Town of Georgina, the York Region District School Board, and the City of Oshawa.

Peake has managed a wide range of planning applications, from Official Plan Amendments to Site Plans. As a Registered Professional Planner, Peake is qualified as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT), demonstrating her comprehensive understanding of provincial, regional and municipal policies. Her background in implementing strategic planning initiatives will be invaluable in shaping Erin’s future development in the coming years. She will play a vital role in advancing development applications and long-range planning initiatives, alongside other members of the Planning and Development team.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI). She will report to Erin’s Manager of Planning and Development, David Waters.
