Public Notice for Additional 4.5 ha Parcel - Part 1, Plan 61R-10125

This notice relates to the property legally described as Part 1, Plan 61R-10125, Town of Erin ("Subject Property") shown on the location map below. The Subject Property is located immediately to the south of County Road 124 and east of Erin Park Drive and is approximately 4.5 ha in size. 

In October 2012, 4135199 Canada Inc., 2084937 Ontario Inc., and Sebecca Enterprises Corp filed applications with the County of Wellington and the Town of Erin for amendments to the County and Town Official Plan, Zoning By-law Amendment and approval of a Draft Plan of Subdivision ("Applications"). The Applications were filed to facilitate the development of approximately 113.7 ha of land located immediately adjacent to Subject Property for a combination of commercial, industrial, and residential purposes. The applications were appealed in 2017 to the Ontario Municipal Board (now the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal) by the applicants and are being heard in LPAT Case No. PL171265 ("Appeals"). The appeals were subsequently assumed by successors in title to the applicants ("Appellants").

In 2019 the Appellants acquired the Subject Property. Through the Appeals, the Appellants are now proposing that the Applications be amended to incorporate the Subject Property into the proposed development and developed for commercial and industrial purposes. 

A Tribunal Case Management Conference has been scheduled for December 15, 2020 with respect to the Appels. If you would like to comment on the proposal to amend the Applications to include the Subject Property written submissions can be sent to the Town Clerk, Lisa Campion at Clerks@erin.ca.

Submissions received on or before December 11, 2020 will be assembled and provided to the Tribunal at the CMC.
