The 2024 Town of Erin capital and operating budgets and budgetary forecasts for 2025 to 2027 were passed by council during a regular council meeting Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023. The capital and operating budgets combined total $42 million, and represents a tax increase of 3.0 per cent, or $29.48 on a $600,000 residential assessment.
Budget 2024 prioritizes the Town's strategic goals to achieve stable growth and long-term sustainability while creating a prosperous, healthy, environmentally progressive, livable, and inviting community though well managed municipal services, programs, assets and amenities.

- Thursday, September 28, 2023: Propose 2024 Budget Process & Guidelines
- Friday, September 29, 2023: Release the Budget survey for public review and input
- November 2023: 1st draft 2024 Budget (Council and Public Consultation)
- December 2023: 2nd draft 2024 Budget
- December 2023: Final 2024 Budget & User Fees By-Law (Special Council Presentation)
