Property Information Report (PIR)
The Property Information Report offers information regarding the current Official Plan Designation and Zoning of the property, applicable Subdivision or Site Plan Agreements, issued building permits on file, and any outstanding orders as they relate to the Ontario Building Code, Zoning By-law and/or Property Standards By-law.
Requesting a PIR
Please note that there is a $75.00 fee for the PIR, which can be paid via E-Transfer at epayments@erin.ca. If paying via e-transfer, please DO NOT put in a password.
Payments can also be made by mailing or dropping off a cheque to Townhall or over the phone with VISA or Mastercard. An additional 2% will be applied for any payments over $200, please call 519-855-4407 Ext. 255, visit Townhall to pay with a debit card or cash.
Once payment has been made, Please submit your request for a PIR electronically by emailing planning@erin.ca along with the receipt for proof of payment.
Please provide a letter that includes the following information:
- Property Address and Legal Description
- Current Owner(s)
- Prospective Purchaser(s)
- Closing Date
- Requestor's Information (Name, Mailing Address, Email, Phone Number)
The processing time from the time of payment for a PIR is approximately 10-15 business days.
